Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Is there enough time to make arrangements for all the docs after you get an ITA or is it advisable to start the process in advance? So far i have reference letters and offer/engagement letters. I don't have PCC and also haven't done meds yet. PoF won't take that long.

I would need PCC from US and India and I live in India. I am not sure how much time does PCC take in these countries and also if they (police) would need any docs from me like invitation letter for immigration for processing the certificate. Also can I do the meds in advance or does that too require an invitation letter?

At 459, I am optimistic but not expecting an ITA until 2017, so in the meantime working on docs. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

It is highly advisable to prepare most of the documents in advance:
1. that includes your previous job experiences
2. Diploma translation (also you have already done that for ECA)
3. Mariage and birth certificates
4. Police certificates from countries where you lived before but do not live now.

What you somehow cannot prepare in advance:
1. Medical (but than again that one does not take that long, and you can already put file number of it in the system as proof)
2. Police certificate from your own country (if it takes too long, you can still put there proof that you have asked for it and give it away later).
3. Proof of funds (needs to be rather fresh)
4. Letter from current employment.

Is there any reason why I cannot prepare these in advance other than proof of funds or do all of these need to be fresh (like 6 months or so)? I am afraid PCC from current country might take longer as processing times are usually slow in government sector in India.

There reason is simple.
All the documents I have listed below have limited validity. As you do not know if you stay in EE 1 months or 2 years, it has no sence to prepare something that will expire in 6 months or 1 year.
Thats why.
