I have some final questions before filing our application. When preparing the package do we use 3 envelopes? One for the sponsor, 1 for the applicant and a 3rd envelope for pictures,e-mails etc?

Also is it ok to give copies of cards, tickets etc or do they have to be the originals?

In form imm1344 question 1 about whether to procedd or withdraw the application if the sponsor is found ineligible is it best to check continue or withdraw? Continue I believe gives you appeal rights or is it just best to start over?

1. Yes

2. Yes

3. Appeal rights are only for an Outland applicant. Even still, If the sponsor is found ineligible, that's a bigger problem than CIC denying your application because they doubt your relationship is real.

Good luck!

Question 2 wasn't a yes or no answer. Lol Is it ok to give copies or is it necessary to give originals?

Question 3. Our application is outland. Is it a good idea to appeal or just start over?

Select "withdrawal". Then you get all your money back (except $75 sponsor fee) if sponsor is rejected, can fix the problem, and re-apply.

Practically everyone should select this. If sponsor is ineligible, it would be a complete waste of time and money to proceed to outland visa office and then just have the entire PR app rejected later.

People only select "proceed", if they are expecting a sponsor rejection and want to appeal it on H&C grounds.

2. as stated in the checklist, send photocopies of any cards you submit. it's not guaranteed you will get originals back

3. check off withdraw application. if the sponsor is not eligible, the pr application will be rejected. if you withdraw, you will get all money back except for the sponsor fee. if you continue, you wait to be rejected and lose money. if the sponsor is found in-eligible, either you reapply or find another way to immigrate.

Thanks a lot you guys. Another question I have is about translating. We are in Mexico. I have had what I consider important documents translated professionally. Certificates like birth, wedding etc. I have done the translations of e-mails as it would be WAY to expensive to have all the e-mails done professionally. Could this be a problem or should I just write a letter to the V.O. explaining that I did them and why?

Was this not question 2:

Is that not a question that can be answered with an answer of yes? LOL!

LOL Sorry but no it's not a question that can be answered yes or no. Copies are ok? Or is it necessary to give originals? Yes doesn't work because yes to which part? Copies yes or originals yes? Thanks again

Ok let me re-write it. Is it ok to send copies?

No.

I mean, yes.

Wait...now I'm confused. ???

LOL!
Yes. You can send copies of anything UNLESS the document checklist asks for an original.

Wow that was difficult. Lol Thanks again. I really do appreciate it

I guess I read and miss understood that part. I marked continue... I assume there is no way to contact CPC Mississauga and make that change? I was thinking to contact them through fax with all my information as well as the tracking number for the package and request that change? or its just too late for me?

if the sponsor is found ineligible, then the applicant can withdrawl the application after notification. i imagine there would be instructions on how to do so in any communication received. unless the sponsor has been on welfare or in jail, there is very low chance of being found ineligible. nothing to do about it at this point.

ok thanks. I don't think there will be any problems.
