Signalmaker, Hi! I AM a Canadian and I keep reading your query over and over trying to figure out why the answer would be different. You have me stumped. Lol. Perhaps you are reading too much into it. Why would you want to go to Quebec? Of all the positive reasons, which ones convinced you to choose that Province?

Hi,

i didnt understand your post. i put this post in three different threads.

and i have several suggested files as suggested questions for interview, and logically there is a difference between these three questions, and i wanted to ask about what would be the nearest, for the general question " Why Quebec " without specifying any other details in question.

I had my CSQ interview 2 weeks ago and I just wanted to share my experience hoping that it will help someone.
My interview was in NY and lasted about 45 mins. Couple of advice:
- Have all original document, mainly letters from employers they will count all your work experience in weeks. No letter from employer = no experience
- If you are a student, have your transcript
Now couple of questions she asked me:
- Why Quebec?
- Do I know about the weather there? what do I think about it?
- How is the job market in your field? MAKE SURE you visit emploiequebec website and print out couple of job offer in your field in QUEBEC
- Know the other province that share the border with Quebec
- Quebec population?
- Latest local Quebec news
- Number of regions in Quebec.

the entire interview was in french

Good luck

Hi will the interviewer ask questions in French to dependent(spouse) also or it is just for principal applicant?

Is there any possibility that interview may tackle in english only?

Hi,

From my experience the interview was just in English, if you speak French then maybe they can speak to you in French. I was the principal applicant and I was the only one who got interviewed, my husband was never requested to be interviewed.

Dear amir82 my interview was generic about family information, Job related questions, nature of work and at the end the VO told me that you have passed this interview and your file will be concluded with in 4-6 months after medical and security. Now my e cas updated with "Decision Made" The VO kept his promise and concluded my case within six months. In Shaa Allah you will get response very soon. Did you applied CAIPS notes? I suggest you should apply CAIPS
