I think they are working in the combination of FTD & 2nd AOR.
They are giving updates to those applicants whose 2nd AOR is upto July,10 (till date). They will give medicals according to this order only... this is just my observation , do share or thoughts....

Honeyjack, My 2nd AOR is 31st July 2010 under 4131 NDVO, are VO's working based only FTD & 2nd AOR? Some members are saying they also look at NOC and give preference to some NOC's over others, while other members are saying NOC is not looked at all and processing is based only on the date of 2nd AOR.

So its very confusing at the moment, does anyone have some concrete information wether NOC's has a part or its only the date of 2nd AOR which triggers further processing?

Dear Manonthemove... I don't think CHC's give preference to any NOC because if that was happening, our 2004 application must have been cleared long ago (NOC 3152, Nurses).... This NOC was always there in 38 occupations list and even now in 29 occ. list.... How I wished they follow this trend of picking up cases based on NOC in demand, but they don't.... Rest Assured.

By the way .... are you in process with date?

May be you are not following correct procedure...
Try again....click on.....
http://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/ECAS.jsp
click continue at the bottom....
click continue again on next page after clicking on the check box....
Then on the next page....
1. select "Identification Type" as "immigration file number"
2. "Identification number" as your file number starting with "B....." without any space b/w B & the digits...make sure this is the file number that you got from CHC ND and not CIO
3. Fill your surname exactly as you have mentioned in your application... If not working, you may also try your complete name in different ways... you know better.
4. Fill DOB and place of birth.... thats all

If still you are not able to open it.... check on the copies of original application forms, that you have filled all those particulars correctly there. Maybe there is some mistake in their records and you are filling correct information on ecas page.
