Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi - i have got an invitation to apply and would be able to submit my application in next few days.

Now the questions is, my wife is 16 weeks pregnant. We have not intimated cic as of now about this situation. Just wanted to understand at what stage we should intimate cic about pregnancy? Is it safe to intimate once we have baby in few months or it is advisable to notify them right now?

Pls suggest.

On completion of medicals, you will receive Pregnancy Deferral Letter for spouse. I hope you have deferred X-ray.
So while uploading Medical results, please provide an LOE with tentative date along with Deferral Letter. That would suffice.

Have you guys done with your medicals? Because medicals include xray and in your case it cant be done because your wife is pregnant and the same has to be communicated to the doctor and for sure CIC will know about it.

X ray was done with lead apron. We discussed this with doctor there and her gync too before getting this done. So we are done with the medicals completely.

When should we intimate to cic now?

You can include the details and provide background in the letter of explanation (LOE) which you can attach with your application.

Congratulations on your pregnancy. You don't have to inform CIC about your pregnancy, because that technically is not a change in family composition. If the baby is born before you land as PR, you need to inform CIC. Even if you're like 8 month pregnant while landing, that is fine by the officers.
