Hello

I got my COPR with validity till October 2017 and now my wife is pregnant (3rd month)

Actually we are planning to travel in the month of June or July to Canada. Do we need to take any approvals prior to landing?

Please suggest.

Nope, nothing more than if she wasn't pregnant. Just be sure you and the airlines are happy with her flying at that stage of pregnancy!

I would also make sure you can get heath care .. For Ontario you have to be i the country for 3 months before receiving heath care .

We all know advantage of having baby in Canada, that baby will get Canadian passport, however what are the drawbacks of it ? request you to comment

Thank you...

I am actually landing in saskatchewan.
If you didn't already know, in Saskatchewan you can a health card right after landing. My wife landed at North Portal SK in December 2016. She applied for her health card the next day and had her health card about one week later.
