Dear all, enough giving and taking hopes and let's admit it . The scoring system is not logic nor fair .
Actually may you all look for number of applications received by cic for fsw in 2014 !!!!!
Almost 80% of the caps were filled by just 5-10 %.
22 specialist physicians applied fot the 1000 required

Considering the targets for 2015 it would be really impossible for CIC to move with this speed. 25000 PRs in 2015 wont be achievable unless they make bigger number of ITAs. and Bigger the numbers, sharper will be the decline in CRS cut off.
Best of Luck
So they have a target of admitting 25000 PR in 2015? Is that considering all streams combined (like family, business, EE etc.), or just EE?

It is just matter of the time. Score will definitely come down probably in the third/fourth quarter this year.
Candidates will come with LMIA and provincial nominations gradually because both the PNP and LMIA are not easy and they have most of the requirements common in each other. Employers are still trying to understand and digest the facts for both LMIA and PNP so its a slow game. On other hand, language tests and education assessments are both expensive and time consuming especially for people outside Canada. So pool will apparently grow but again its a slow process.
CIC recently have announced that there are over 22K candidates in the pool over four months. So taking this trend forward how many will be there after 8 and 12 months. I doubt this number will be around 22-25K if they continue to do the draws with same frequency but CIC will never achieve their growing immigration demand/goal which they announce like more or less 250k every year.
I have a feeling that CIC will do big draws for all streams in one in 3rd and 4th quarters or stream specific draws. EE system is still new, I strongly believe they are still working to improve the system.

I think it's only for EE because the 285 k which CIC adjusted for 2015 quota is for the rest of programs.

Okay dear Se7en you are right and great point if view, but do you think that CIC will continue to pick up only who got high score in the pool in some particular NOC like doctors , engineers and IT candidates or they have a hidden cap for each NOC?

i have lost all my hopes after 7th draw.... as bcoz my score is very low... 322 only... and 5points will lose in few days!! :(
Standing on 322 why are you posting meaningless prediction post every time? Your post doesnt make any sense and you are wasting time. Please take rest and make a fresh start with IELTS. This is the only way to increase score. At least learning english and appearing on exam would give you some positive result other than making useless thread.

[/quote) very good analysis. I was thinking the same. To add, I don't think too many people will rush to migrate to canada especially if they do not have any family or friends there and also if its too costly to relocate, I can apply for Australia EOI but it will be very costly for me to relocate with my family and I have only a few friends there. Hence Canada was my best option as half of my 'generation' us there. So I don't think the pool will drastically increase. Therefore if they want to achieve their target, they will have to make big draws and the scores will definitely have to reduce.

How it is possible?? 285K for 2015...

CIC told that already 2200 People on the Pool.... but till now only 7000+ ITA issued.... i think this is not realistic data what CIC provided...

All applicants who have a score of 67 points or higher according to Federal Skilled Worker assessment are eligible for express entry.
Sooner or later it is going to happen. The only thing i fear is the job bank getting inline with Express Entry. Once it is in place then getting job responses from the canadian companies will be tough as they don't recognize most foreign experiences.
Till then lets not lose hope.
there is a very huge difference in these 2 things which u already knw.
67 points is eligibility.. but where is it written that everyone eligible will get ITA.. almost anyone having bachelors degree, IELTS and experience is eligible..
so dont confuse or think that if a person is eligible they r guaranteed ITA over the year or 2.. infact to b frank.. its no point of this conversation.. or any other conversation abt predictions.. only time will tell us.. wat we can do is a) hav patience.. b) try to improve our score..

thats all..

I am not sure if there would be hidden caps for now but I think they will have to make some arrangements for some specific NOCs. Like for example PhD
graduates are being totally ignored in current EE system despite the fact Canada need PhD professors for its Universities which are a good sources of generating revenue. In IT i feel there are more candidates in jobs like system/computer/software development engineers with small/medium sized companies and these employers are helping candidates in getting LMIA or PNP. For other 0/A/B NOCs other than software/computer engineers working in medium/large companies LMIA or PNP is a bit slow.
So CIC will definitely have to put and limit some caps in near future as they wouldn't want people only in specific occupations like computer/system/software. CIC always had immigration granted to people on a specific number per occupation base. EE system is blind for now, if 800 out of 950 are software/computer engineers then what about people in other occupations.
For the candidates in pool, I assume it would always stay around 22k-25k. How many people applied under FSW when there was 25k quota for the whole year. I believe hardly 15K would have applied in FSW last year when there was no education assessment required at all.
EE needs one to have enough money in short time in order to do assessment, language exam, POF, medical etc etc.
