Would like to hear the timeline for the folks who applied in 2014 and got pre-test RQ. Did anyone get the test and Oath? Heard that the processing of RQ before test is very fast for 2014 applications. Did not come across anyone who applied in 2014, got RQ and oath is done or scheduled. Please share your timeline..

Thx.

Moreover, In RQ, should we send any documents for the "relevant period" which was not in Canada.. i.e. prior to 3 years...like lease agreements etc. some people suggest that we should not as we have to prove our residency in Canada and not abroad, but my concern is if this falls within relevant 4 years period, CIC might sees it as document missing...

Folks who have already submitted RQ, please comment....

Thx.

Tough Call! The intent should be to prove that you stayed in Canada to meet the requirement of 5(1)(c) of the Citizenship Act.

The RQ document also hints to provide proof with in Canada. Example: Under Employment Ties, they ask for proofs related to work done in Canada - T4, T5, CRA docs, etc. even though they asked you to specify list the work history (inside and outside Canada) during relevant period.

Experts should chime in!

You only need to submit Canadian documents as proof of residency,no need to submit outside documents the only exception is entry exit record from your country of citizenship/residence in the last four years
