Hello, I came Canada on student basis. I got my PNP in last April. I filled my paper based application in last May. At the end of June I got my PR file number. After that recently I got my PRE ARRIVAL LETTER. Here I am confused because they didn’t ask for my Medical examination, why ?????? In my account it showing “ You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.” Same as for additional documents, biometrics and interview. In my background check “ We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.” In my final decision “ Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made. “
My main question is why they didn’t ask for my medical examination before pre arrival letter?? Please guide me.
Here I am clarifying I had surgery in last March. Are they considering those documents from hospital directly rather than doing medical again or what ?? This is just my assumption. Just guide me .

It seems that prearrival means eligibility passed, but not related to medical and background

Same here

PNP Paper based, Inland

AR - Jul 29, 2019
AOR - Aug 15, 2019
Additional Documents Request - Jan 20, 2020

So, while I am uploading my add Docs, they sent me this Pre-Arrival Letter through my account.

I was also wondering why they sent it before Medical Request. Does it mean I don't need to have a Medical Request?

Let's share some updates here

Hi! I'm in the same situation now. What happened to yours at the end?

- AR: Jan 30th.
- AOR: March 3rd.
- Biometrics requested: March 3rd. (sent on March 9th)
- RPRF requested (I didn't pay it when I sent my application): August 6th
- Invitation to Pre arrival letter: August 6th.

I haven't been requested to do a medical yet and I'm a bit confused, cause my timeline on the CIC says "Estimated completion date: August 30, 2021" (basically 12 months from now) and I thought (and read on the CIC website) that they will request the RPRF fee once your application has been approved.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Cheers,
Sandra.
