I came to canada based on humanitarian grounds as permanent resident. I sent my application for renewal of my PRC until now im still waiting (almost 10 months) and still saying:" application still in process ".is that normal to take so long?

Do you know what the category was on your PRTD (R-1 or RC-1)? How soon after you arrived did you apply for a PR card? I'm assuming you missed RO.....by how much?

Just few days after I arrived
They sent email telling they started processing my file and since then I'm waiting

Yes - we've seen others who have had to wait that long (and longer). Unfortunately there's really nothing you can do but wait. If you have further questions, I would post them to the Permanent Residency Obligation section of the forum.

I missed 36 days of 730 days is that affect even though I explained the reasons which was out of my control
