hi All

please I need clear answer on this case; I have sponsored my wife while I am abroad. she got the visa as immigrant now and we have to go for Canada for landing. I need to know what steps we should do while we are there, should we apply for PRC or she will get it automatically once we landed in Canada, what other things we shall do ,please clarify in detail.

Regards,
Firas

I do believe once you land in Canada you will have to meet with Immigration officials to go over your paperwork...and once you land they will send you your PRC to your Canadian address....good luck!

can I leave Canada without the PRC as it will take at least 3 moths to receive it?

I don't believe so...I would not leave Canada until you receive your PRC..you might want to ask a senior member of the forum they would probably have better information for you! Sorry I couldn't help you in that regard...good luck

Yes, your wife can leave without the PR card. Looking at your previous posts, your wife is from Jordan?

As she is not visa-exempt, in order to return to Canada, she will need to either have the PR card mailed to her by someone in Canada or she will need to apply for a PR Travel Document at the embassy in Jordan.
