Hi, I am physically present for more than 730 days in Canada after my PR. I work for a Canadian company. Now I have a situation to move outside the country for more than a year. My question is can I still work for the same employer (if the employer agrees) from overseas and receive my salary in CAD? Will there be an issue?

No issue with respect to the resdiency obligation, it's possible you might get the time with the Canadian company to count towards RO - but better if you meet the RO without it. (You'd have to get the company to make a bit of effort to document it as an assignment for a defined period of time)

For the rest - it's only taxes and other issues esp wrt to the other country (and tax treaties etc). Try to get the company to hire an accountancy firm to deal with this for you.
