PR + Visitor extension application

Hi, I'm about to submit an application for PR for my wife, I am the sponsor. We will submit a OWP with the application.
I've read that it's wise to submit a visitor extension as well. Do I submit that with the PR application too. her current stay is valid to 31 May.

One final one, I've had two friends go through this process and both say to apply for PR online. I can't see that as an option at all. It must be hardcopy by post?

There is no option to apply online. Your friends must be going through another immigration stream (i.e. economic immigration).

Send in the extension separately. Wait until you are closer to May 31.

Much appreciated Scylla. They completed theirs a few years ago and I suspect they are confusing it with linking to online account.
