Hello, good day/evening to you all.
The situation: My girlfriend is a native of Indian Status and is currently pregnant. I'm a PR and I've read that I have certain responsibilities such as stay in Canada for 3 years in order to be eligble for citizenship. Would my girlfriend giving birth to our baby change anything - process wise? We plan to get married too and I know that won't change up anything immigration wise, we also just started living together. I'm perfectly fine with waiting 3-5 years, just wanted to know if there's some clause or law that I've not come across. Thank you!

Having a baby will not change citizenship requirements, and I don't see why it should.. Otherwise we'd have a lot more babies popping out :p

The child and your girlfriend's status make zero difference to you qualifying for citizenship.
