PR status of wife not meeting PR obligation

Hi guys!
I was wondering if anyone had experience with this: my husband meets his residency obligations and will work and live in Canada within his allotted time, but my children and I will not meet it, though we will join him before our cards expire. Will we be allowed into Canada and what will happen to our Residency Status?

When you arrive in Canada as a PR who doesn't meet the RO, there is a risk that the immigration officer will realize that you don't meet the RO and they can report you for it. If they report you, you will have to appeal for your PR. If you had solid H&C grounds for staying outside Canada, you may win your appeal. Grounds considered by me medicals problems in your family or taking care of a sick relative. Wanting to complete work outside Canada or study outside Canada would not be considered a good reason.

If the immigration officer doesn't report you, you and your kids can enter Canada and go about your daily life but you should not risk leaving and you should not try to renew your PR card until you have 730 days in the past 5 years. This would mean that you would have to let your PR cards expire but that is ok.

If you get reported and lose your appeal and lose your PR, your husband would be able to sponsor you again.
If your kids get reported, you should appeal for them separately from your application based on that they were removed from Canada on your decision, not theirs because that way, they may win their appeal even if you lose.
