This follows on from previous threads against my name
It has been confirmed by the government that I still have PR status but as per the ruling and that I have lived in the UK for many many years I would not automatically qualify to get it renewed.
It has since transpired me under my previous name (surname changed when adopted by step dad) shows on the government database that I never left Canada. Obviously this isnt the case but the government are unable to answer what this means for me if anything. I just keep getting we are looking into it...... It would have been in the late 70's and Im guessing that I would have been on my mothers passport so it never recognised my leaving the country.
I expected them to just say we as per website you havent lived here in so many years etc etc but it is stumping them when they realise that I show oddly on their database.
Any thoughts people, at a dead end here.
