Hi,

I applied for my PR under inland spousal sponsorship in May 2016 and have received requests for Medicals, police clearance (finger printing) and passport all at the same time.

I have completed all the requests as asked. However, I have a WITHDRAWN charge from April (for a minor offence) which I believe will appear on my record and extend my RCMP result time to 120 days.

Will CIC wait for that long as my information has been requested for submission within 30 days from the date of request? What can I do about it in this situation?
Also, will my passport be held for that long by CIC?

Just submit everything you can. CIC already know there's something going on with RCMP, because they requested the check (which most people don't get, even if they've lived in Canada). So long as you declared it at all times (eg any form that asked if you'd been arrested), a minor charge withdrawn shouldn't present a problem.

Spousal Sponsee,

Thank you so much for the reply. I guess I will go ahead and submit everything as asked and continue to maintain a transparent record of communication with CIC.
