PR sponsored by conventional refugee PR travelling to home country

Hey everyone,

If a person who obtained a PR then citizenship after being a protected person/refugee sponsors their spouse to become and obtain permanent residence, can the spouse travel to their home country?

I am aware the protected person/refugee PR cannot go back to their home country, but not sure about the sponsored person who obtained PR under spousal sponsorship.
