PR Renwal application abandoned

I have applied to renew my PR on August 2010 , they sent questionair to fillful it and send back , unfortunately I didn't receive it and consequently didn't reply them
Status of my application now changed from ( in process ) to ( complete and application abandoned ) because no requested information received
Now my PR expired

What can I do now ? I have to apply again ?

When did they send you the questionnaire? Was it a long time ago or recent?

I think you'll need to write them a letter and explain your situation, along with the questionnaire. Hopefully they will open your file again.

Thanks Leon , is my history wiil be against me if I apply again ? Another question my dear which is : the landing was on 2006 and now 2012 , the last 3 years ( I mean from 2009 - 2012 ) little absence so if I ignore the first 3 year and mention the days outside Canada during last 3years .. Is it ok ? Or I have to mention the same date in previous application ?

Also, when did you get the residency questionnaire? You applied for renewal in Aug 2010, right?

I do not think your history will count against you. They did not investigate you or revoke your PR so in that case, they should only look at the past 5 years. If you apply now, write your history since 14.09.2007. If you have at least 730 days in Canada during that time, you meet the requirements.

As per our discussion above , my renewal PR application abandoned , and PR now expired (2011)
You advised me to apply again and I will do
Now I have to go urgently ( within this week ) to my country because my father in a critical health situation.

My question if I leave , can I re- enter without any problems ? Without any investigations in immigration office?
Do you advise me to get new visa to enter?
I am worry because I have some information from my relative here that I will face too much problems if I leave with expired PR

If you leave and want to come back without a PR card or with an expired card, you can either try to enter at the land border and take your chances with immigration or you have to apply for a PR travel document. If you can prove that you were in Canada for 730 days or more in the past 5 years, you should get the travel document.

Leon actually meant that as you have us visa so you can try coming in by car or something from us border and sometimes if you are lucky they will let you in even on expired pr.

but it's better to reapply for renewal can show your dad's paper for urgent renewal n then go.

They will most likely allow you to enter but they may give you a hard time for not having renewed your PR card before you left.
