PR renewal

Dear forums,

I am giving a hypothetical example here on renewal of PR card.

Let's hypothesize that right after completing landing formalities and receiving my valued PR card, I left Canada and stayed out for more than four years and returned to Canada to live before the expiry of my PR card. I have some questions to you which comes to my mind specific to this situation.

1. Would I be allowed to re-enter Canada and the immigration officer questions why I stayed so long ?
2. Vividly, my PR card expires on the fifth year and what difficulties may I face ? Please keep in mind that I don't fulfill a two year residency to meet the requirement of PR renewal.

You will be allowed to enter Canada as long as you return before your PR card expires.

The difficulties you might face are as follows:

You may be questioned by immigration when you return as to why you haven't met residency requirements.

The immigration officer may flag you in the system for failing to meet residency requirements. If you are flagged in the system, you will have to appear in front of a judge to argue why you should be allowed to retain your PR status. If the judge rules against you, your PR status will be revoked and you will be asked to leave Canada.

RECENTLY THEY CANCEL PR OF SOME PPLES SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY DID NOT ADHERE TO THE RULES WHICH STATE THAT FOR YOU TO REMAIN PR HOLDER.YOU MUST HAVE STAY IN CANADA FOR TWO YEARS OUT OF FIVE,SINCE YOU ARE NOT READY TO ADHERE TO THE RULES WHY DID YOU CHOSE TO APPLY FOR FSW.THEY WILL REVOKE THEIR PR AND ASK YOU TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY...
