PR Renewal Urgent!!

Hi folks,

My wife applied for PR renewals in march 2010 but have not heard anything yet. wondering if she could get the air ticket and fax it to them to expedite the process ? How many chances are there to for request to be considered if she does so and in how many days ?

According to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/canada/process-in.asp#pr_card it's now taking 186 days (6 months) to get a PR card renewed. If she needs to travel, she can buy a ticket and fax it to them with a letter asking them to expedite the process. It should help.
