For renewing the PR card, CIC website states some new rules for translation of documents , it asks for certified copy and translator's declaration as shown below:
" Translation of documents
Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:
the English or French translation;
a certified copy of the document; and
a translator's declaration.
Note: The declaration must include the translator's name, the original language of the translated document and a statement signed by the translator that the translation is accurate. Translators who are certified members in good standing of one of the provincial or territorial organizations of translators and interpreters of Canada do not need to supply an affidavit."
I just want to know if the document can be translated by a translator in a foreign country (out of Canada) or it has to be translated in Canada. How about certified copy and translator's declaration . Can it be done by someone in a foreign country ?
Another question, Can some one request Urgent processing for PR renewal by sending flight ticket (leaving Canada in 1 month) if the PR card will be expired in 7-8 months ?
I mean ,is it a problem to request for Urgent processing 7-8 month before PR card expiration?
