PR renewal question.

I received my COPR in Jan 2014. i officially landed May 5 2014. while i am far from my renewal date, i am curious. My understanding is I need 730 days in Canada to renew. when do they start counting the days! fromthe day I landed in May or from Jan. because the COPR had a date of jan 2019. Do they change it based on landing date?

Thankyou, thats a relief, because the copr was issued in Jan, but i taught i lost 5 months.
