Hello

my mom submitted her pr card renewal application on May 29 via permanent residence portal online. She also paid 50$ fees. But her application shows submitted status even today sep 22 . And the “View” button is blocked ao she can not even see her own application.

There is no email and no update on status.
Does anyone have the same issue ?

Yes, see https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...card-renewal-obligations.873603/post-11098963 for an example (though your mother's has been stuck for a bit longer it seems).

Important note here - from what I understand you should be linking the application into your IRCC account (see https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...es/application/account/link-paper-online.html ) to be able to track it, the portal itself doesn't have any updates beyond "submitted" since it's purely for the submission. (In my opinion this is a poor user experience, the portal itself should include tracking status updates too, this is not technically challenging to add. I suppose there just aren't enough tax dollars available to make this simple change..)

Hmm. I wonder what might happen if you forcibly enabled the View button using devtools (see https://developer.chrome.com/docs/devtools/dom or Google's AI suggestion for "chrome enable a button edit attribute")

Anyways, assuming you still can't link the application or get tracking info some other way, it might be time to call IRCC to see what's up. (See https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...-to-contact-ircc-and-speak-with-agent.842792/ for instructions )
