Thank you guys for the help. I managed to get Employer reference letter (it was for some other reason) and have sent it to CIC through e-mail (response to rejection e-mail) and by post with a covering letter.

If I am lucky, my case will re open- I am skeptical abut this 'decision made' means case closed.

If nothing happens in next two weeks, I will resubmit a new application.

Next step is to get a IELTS score card copy and PCC, RCMP.

Information update:

"Once decision made, it cannot be changed"- by VO. I have filed a new application in March 2014. Hopefully it will be through this time ...

thank you for all the support.

Not surprising - they usually only re-open a file if you show that the VO made an error in the decision. That was not the case here. But it sounds like you have what you need now to re-apply, good luck!

I can share my exp with u..My application was rejected due to 10 day less experience..
If your IELTS Is not expired (which means that its not been 2 year of IELTS EXAM from time u get ur next AOR) you can ask copy of test report for 20$ from test center
PCC (yes it has to be new one )...
Check the checklist for CEC...In new check list they have put down the points related to reference letter .....(u can submit copy of Contract, experience letter, pay slips t4 and NOA )..
New rules were implemented from 9th nov so still have to see if they are asking people if they have any doubts
Hello gladaki,
Just wondering if u can help. Did you apply before 10 days of work experience on your pgwp or you just sent the employer's letter which was dated 10 days before your experience on your work permit was completed for a year. Thanks.

Hi Folks,

I am new to this forum and this is my first question..

I am working from past 1.4 years in canada and my company is'nt providing the employment letter, hence i am sending all my pay slips and T4 for this period.

Does the documents help for processing??

I really can't understand why some employers simply refuse to give the employment letter. It is just to say the employee has worked there for such and such period. It is nothing like a recommendation or anything.
You need to provide a cover letter and explain your situation. Do you happen to have an offer letter? That can be helpful too.

Thanks a lot for the reply ferna..

i have the letter which was used for applying my work permit, can that be usefull?

That may be useful. The problem with only having pay stubs and the T4 is that there is no evidence of the job duties you were performing, so the VO has no evidence of the NOC or skilled work experience if there is no letter. If that information is in the work permit letter, that MAY help.

But you would also need to provide some evidence that they are refusing to provide a Letter of Employment (e.g. email where they say "no").

Initially my employer was not willing to gave me an employment letter when I asked for it. We had an argument after one week they agreed to give me an employment reference letter but that was useless for me it has no duties and task which I perform on daily basis. Later, I spoke with the assistant manager whom I received directions and he gave me the letter with all the necessary details on company letterhead under his signature and designation. I filed my PR on February 19, 2014 and my employer fired me on February 20, 2014 reason I showed attitude and do not listen to them. Yesterday I got an AOR, my question is should I tell CIC that I got fired very next day I filed my application? would it impact bad on my file?

No, it is not necessary. You either pass or fail based on your qualifications at the time you applied. What happens after, in terms of employment, is not relevant to the CEC application. Even if CIC calls your former employer for verification, and they report that you were fired, it does not really matter.

On the other hand, if there is a problem with the Letter - if it doesn't contain all the required information - you may face challenges getting a new / revised letter...

Thanks so much for the prompt reply. I hope the letter I sent with my application will contains all the info.

It is clearly mentions in AOR

Please inform the visa office of any changes in your application (e.g. birth or adoption of a child, marriage or common-law relationship, new occupation or employer, change of address, change of e-mail address, change of immigration representative, etc).

Please advise.

First of all, you getting fired will not affect your application at all.
Second, CIC wants to be updated, but you don't have to. As Jes_ON already said,
A decision will be made based on the information you've submitted in your application and
Not on yur current situation.

If you currently have an updated letter from your last employer, which contains more
Information than the new you've submitted within your application , than you can email that
Letter to cic.

Hope this helps.

No, I do not have any updated letter from my last employer.

OK, then don't worry, you'll be fine. There's nothing you have to do right now, but wait for the next
Request from CIC.

Hello Toby and Ali,
I don't have problem like Ali as my company provided me everything that i have asked.
I just Got the updated letter yesterday which has all duties i performed, hours description in detail from starting date till day before I applied for CEC. also I have notice of assessment for me and my wife.
My questions are
1. Can I send my Updated Employment letter now to CEC???
2. Also, do I have to send My wife's notice of assessment as well or only principal applicant(me in my case) have to send???
3. And do i have to scan and send via Email or i have to mail them? in both the cases I would like to know Email ID or address to send please??

Thank you much in advance.
