I applied for a PGWP extension in July because I had received a shortened PGWP due to my passport expiry — it should have been valid until the end of November 2025. In July, I received an ITA, and today I received a PR refusal. I’m currently on implied status, and my work permit extension states that I can continue working until May 2026 or until a decision is made on my PGWP extension application. My question is do i need to leave my job today because my PR got refused or can I continue working ? Any help would appreciated.
