You are a life saver!
I just checked online and they started processing like others on December 6th:

  1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 31, 2021.
  2. We started processing your application on December 6, 2021.
  3. Medical results have been received.

Thanks dear! :D
How to check on Ecas?

Hi everybody,

I applied for refugee Sept 2019, my hearing was in June 2020 got canceled because of covid and a new date was Dec 2021!!! and I finally got accepted. Just have a question, I want to apply for my PR by mail, do you think online is better? I already printed everything and ready to go.

another question is: in form Schedule 14, Question number 7, I answered "NO" to are you a legal and permanent resident of any country? as I was a citizen not a permanent resident and have no other residency anywhere else. Someone here asked for and answered Yes and you all said that's Ok. just wanted to make sure

there is no diffrence in applying online vs mailing application i guess you will save courier fees

you should answer yes they mean that you are you a citizen of another country thats what they mean by permanent residence. Your home country is your permanent residence

Thank You for replying, but by definition, being a citizen is different from being a permanent resident. That's why it makes no sense to say Yes to that. so I'm still struggling with this question. So you all said yes to that?

Definitely its NO, if you flight directly from your home country to canada and you never lived in any country as resident or permanent resident , you have to answer NO to all questions in that form.

The answer is NO. These are some of the simple mistakes that delay processing for people who don’t complete and answer the questions correctly on the application form.
