New update for me. I got today request for police certificate to be submitted before 30 March 2022. Time line as following:

Permanent Residence
1- We received your application for permanent residence on April 14, 2021.
2- We started processing your application on November 19, 2021.
3- Medical results have been received.

How is this that they are asking for Police Certificate? Do they require a police certificate from Canada or another country?

Have you lived in a country other than Canada and your country of origin for more than six months? Where do I need your criminal record?

My spouse is outside Canada. When he received communication from IRCC, the notification came with his Application number and his UCI number. He has submitted a separate application as required by IRCC and has paid for Biometrics. No medical yet.

I could link my application with my GCKEY I never received a letter besides the one I got last year when I submit my application. I linked it jus by removing the X and just writing G-XXXXXXX. I just check I am on background check.

I have all the information I need to link my application to my GCKey account but unfortunately I haven’t been able to and it’s not for lack of trying. I don’t know what else to do.

@gayrefugee, Has your processing started? You can’t link unless they have started processing your application. They started processing mine in November 2021.
