I need help from this group, My wife and I are both Canadian PRs. I recently returned to Canada for work.
My wife and infant baby are still in India. I’m really struggling to live alone without them, and I want them here as soon as possible.
Problem:
Our baby does not have PR or a TRV yet. I understand the PR sponsorship/PR application process takes time, but I want to know the fastest possible way to bring them here.
My idea:
Is this the best approach?
Has anyone here done PR + TRV together for a newborn?
Is there any faster or recommended option to get my wife and baby here urgently (even within days, if possible)?

My idea:
- Apply for my baby’s PR immediately.
- At the same time, apply for a TRV for the baby.
- In the TRV application, clearly explain that PR is already applied, but due to family separation and my current situation, we are requesting a TRV so the baby can travel to Canada sooner.
Is this the best approach?
