Hi Guys!

I am a second year masters student in Canada, and looking forward to apply for PR. I have 3 years of professional experience as an engineer in my home country, and am wondering if there's any PR program that makes it possible to apply for PR here, even when I am a masters student. I am thinking if my experience will help me?

Thanks a lot in advance! any kind of input will be helpful.

Yes, EE/FSW if you can get enough points to get an invite.

Thanks a lot!!! will my ongoing masters be considered for awarding points as well?

No, incomplete degrees do not result in any points.

Also, isn't FSW merged with EE now? or are they still two different programs?

EE is not an immigration program, it is a way of selecting who gets to apply for the immigration programs (FSW, CEC, FSTP) that already existed previously.

Befor EE, you could apply directly e.g. For FSW. Now, only candidates who receive an ITA will be allowed to apply for FSW. But you must still meet the minimum eligibility criteria to do so, and have enough CRS points to be one of the top ranked 1,000 or so candidates in the pool when they make a draw.
