I arrived in Toronto last week for PR registration at the airport and will be returning in the next three days to Middle East. In my immigration application, I had applied for Alberta, Calgary. Please clarify -
1. Do all the family members need to stay for 2 years in any 5 years to maintain the PR or is it only the Principal Applicant ?
2. I have given my relative's address to send my PR card and they will send me the card once they receive it. Immigration officer told that it will take apprx.6 weeks. Will it take that long or it usually takes lesser time ?
3. In the permanent residency record (copy given at the airport) which is the most important number for future references - Doc no. Or the ID ?

I'll answer two questions:

1) All family members need to meet the 2 years in 5 rolling year residency obligation to retain their PR status.
2) It typically takes at least 5 weeks. Some receive their cards closer to 8 weeks.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply.
Regards
Anil

Talking about Client ID. Does the client ID stay with you forever? I am filling out a form which has client ID but I landed over 6 years ago. Should still use same client ID?

Yep. It's yours to keep forever.
