1. What all should one be aware, keep track (documents, final dates, etc.), and do after getting PR.

2. Is the renewal tie still 5 years.

3. What all obligations/benefits will there be for transitioning to a citizen.

4. What happens if one's foreign passport gets expired when they are a PR. Should theyget the stamping again from the embassy. If so how to do that.

1. Keep track of when you are in Canada and when you are not. The question "What to do after getting PR" is too broad.

2. It's 2 of the past 5 years at any one time, starting from when you land.

3. You can vote. You can get some security related jobs.

4. You do not need a visa once you have a PR card.
