I have Applied for PR express entry under the CEC class in April 2020, my application is still in process, and waiting for the background check to clear. I came to India to meet my family in March and my return flight was in April end but due to the COVID case surge, all the international flights have been canceled going to Canada. For now, the flights are suspended till the 21st of June, which might get prolong depending on the situation.
MY PGWP is expiring on the 2nd of July. I am worried that in order to travel and work in Canada when flights resume, how should I extend my status till my PR final decision is made.
Should I apply for
1. Bridging open work permit
2. PGWP extension
or is there another option?
My concerns are, am I allowed to apply for an extension from outside Canada.
