PR in canada from Aust with degree in IT

Hi!

I'm new to PR rules in Canada. I have some questions to ask if anyone would please give me some advise.

I am 36 yrs old and I graduated with a bach in Info Sys in Australia 2 years ago. Last year, Feb 2010 I took IELTS test and I got 7 in each band. I would like to know if I am eligible to apply for PR in Canada. How long would it take to get an outcome. How complicated is the process?

1. Assuming you have never worked/studied in Canada and don't have a job offer in Canada, unless you have one years experience in an occupation on the list of 29 http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list You don't qualify.
