PR Holder sponsoring my new born kid

I am PR holder and my wife delivered our son in Dubai. Now, I am planing to move back to Canada, and need to sponsor him. I have heard a lot of stories about how things could be.
My Company said it will transfer me to work from our office in Toronto. I need to know if this will help process the PR of my new born son, and what should I do.

Firstly, you must be living in Canada to sponsor anyone, as you are a PR and not a Canadian citizen.
Secondly, if you are currently employed outside Canada, the offer from your company to relocate you back to Canada will make life easier for you, but will not alter processing speed.

Once you are back in Canada, you can proceed with sponsorship, as long as you meet the Residency Obligations.
You can apply for a TRV for the child, which may be refused. You then can request a TRP for the child instead to allow you to be together in Canada during the application processing.

The company's transfer will not change the PR process requirement or timeline for your newborn. It will only help your PR sponsoring requirement that you must remain in Canada to sponsor your child.

Because your child is from a non-visa exempt country, the child will have to remain in UAE until PR is granted. Depending on your nationality, your child may get citizenship of yourself or your spouse and gain non-visa exemption to Canada. Otherwise, the child will have to remain in UAE. Another concern is how long you have been outside Canada as PR. If you are moving back to Canada barely to meet the residency requirement to maintain your PR status, this can seriously affect your spouse's PR as she too would need to be in Canada to maintain her PR status. By having her stay in UAE for your son's PR process, she could lose her PR status.
