How long it takes to receive the PR card after landing?
How about the Healthcard in SK? I applied more than 3 weeks (left 2 messages on Regina automated phone system), still nothing and I have to see a doctor. Will they accept me without?

PR card is usually 6 weeks later, from the experiences I have read.

Sorry, don't know anything about the health card arrangements in SK.

There will be someplace you can go and pay. Here in Ottawa it is the Apple Tree medical centre. You can't just go to any Dr because of their insurances, it has to be a place where they can take "non Canadians" as well as Canadians. Keep the receipt you may be apply for a reimbursement.
It currently takes 29 business days to receive your PR card.

I believe a new resident to SK has to fill out forms and mail them to the health registration. I dont think that you can do it over the phone (forgive me if I misunderstand what you did).
