PR getting revoked

Hi,

I have a couple of queries, hoping someone can help me with it.

1) What are the reasons for the PR status to be revoked?
2) When we say meeting residency obligation? Does this mean that one has to stay any 730 days in 5 years?
3) I have read somewhere that one cannot leave Canada / province for more than 6/7 months. Is the statement completely invalid? Or valid only for health card validity?

for new pr .. you have to stay for 2 years out of 5 years.

for pr's who are a pr for more than 5 years, they need to immediately have 2 years back from today in order to meet ro or else pr is gone.

1) Fraud, failing to meet the Residency Obligation, criminal inadmissibility.
2) Any 730 days. They are NOT required to be contiguous.
3) This is false for immigration status as a Permanent Resident. Health care has it's own set of requirements.

Thanks for the info. So if i am not involved in fraud, or criminal activities and have sufficient days available to fulfill my residency obligation, i should not worry about getting held at the airport?
- Actually i am winding up from my existing residence (job, investments etc) and planning to move to Canada. So i don't want any last minute surprises at the airport as i would not have the option to go back.
- Is proving i have sufficient days to fulfill residency obligation automatically calculated by the immigration department or do i have to provide any kinds of proof?

In some cases proof is certainly required.

In some cases CIC may not believe you have enough days. In these cases you may be asked provide proof that you were physically in Canada for the time you are claiming. That proof often includes things like employment proof, rental agreements, utility bills, credit card / banking statements, tax returns, health care usage records, travel records such as boarding passes, etc.
