PR for USA citizen kids /Leon and all please answer..thanks in advance!!

My friend has applied to renew her PR more than 2 years ago and not receive yet due to her residency reqiurement issue. But her 3 kids are usa Citizen, So my question is can she apply for PR for her kids...even her PR is not here and then she get her status back due to her kids....she is house wife and never worked.

Your post isn't very clear. Did she apply to renew her PR status without meeting the residency requirement?

Her PR status needs to be valid and she needs to meet residency requirements in order to sponsor her children for PR. She must also be living in Canada.

If you can provide clearer / more detailed information then we should be able to assist more.

I just read through your older posts.

It sounds like she applied to renew her PR card without meeting the residency obligation and CIC is now investigating. If that's the case - no, she can't sponsor her children. She has to meet residency obligation to keep PR herself and to sponsor her children. She cannot get her status back through her kids.
