I am currently doing PhD in India and will be submitting my PhD thesis in 6 months. I learnt that there is job requirement in my area ( R & D, Titanium alloys processing and characterization such as electron microscopy in materials science and engineering). I can always try for a post doctoral position in Canada. I was wondering if I could apply for PR for the year 2014. I have 4 years of academic experience. Is this enough for a PR application ? Who can I approach to find an exact job in this area ? Can non canadian PhD graduates get job offers without any initial work experience ? Please suggest.
