PR File from India - Guidance Required

Hi All,

Can Anybody guide me or help me here???

I have filed my application for PR on 10th August 2011. I have got the acceptance & file number on 13th January 2012 mentioning that my file will be sent to New Delhi Visa Office for further processing.

However, it has been almost 4 months & haven't heard anything from New Delhi VIsa office whether they have received the file or not??

I have seen few cases who has submitted their files after me & they are on their way to Canada.... :(

Could someone please guide???

When you have recieved your information that your file will be sent to NDVO for further processing you must have got the application number. Get it checked online on https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/ECAS.jsp

Or, send a mail to NDVO asking status of your application.

Thanks for your reply.

I have checked the status & it is mentioned that "We have received your application for Permanent Residency on August 10, 2011"

There is no mention of the file being sent to Delhi or being received by them.

your status won't be change until you will get medical...its better to give them a call or fax them your query!!
hopefully they will reply and let you know---where is your file!!

Hi All,

Just wanted to say that after clearing the interview, have got the medicals done & passport sent to VO 15 days back... when can I expect my passports back??? :)
