PR extension question

Hi,

Me and my wife became PRs in 2012. I will list the necessary bits of info before I post my question.

First landing: July 2012 (Toronto)
Flew back to home country: July 2012
PR issued: August 2012 (cards delivered to our relatives place who brought them to our home country along with them after a few months)
Moved permanently back to Canada: May 2014
2 years min stay requirement completed: Jun 2016

Now, my question is that for 2012/2013 I filed a NIL tax return based on my relatives address in Toronto but I was in my home country. Since CIC cross-checks PR renewal application info with CRA, which address do I need to provide from Aug 2012 - May 2014, Toronto or my home countries'?

Also, should I be wary of anything else, given the above info?

Thanks in advance!

What's the date when you are planning to apply for renewal of pr card?

If you meet the residency obligations then you can apply for renewal of pr card.
I think it goes 5 years back from the date of application.

The answer is your home country address. (July 2012 to May 2014)

Under Section C (19) you need to mention all the addresses you lived inside and outside Canada.

Under C (21) mention all the trips where you have lived or travelled outside Canada in the past 5 years.

Be truthful that's all.

Read the instruction guide here:

Thanks. For sure I have no intention of lying since my record is clean but I was just wondering how the data for both CIC and CRA will correlate for 2012-2014. But at the same time I guess it might not matter since I won't be claiming any residence time for this duration.

Thanks!
