PR extension application didnt started so what is the next steps

Hi

I applied for my wife PR extension in March,2016 and her existing PR expired in OCt,2016.
But still now the application is not processed.

We got initial letters which says that her application requires further investigation but didn't hear anything from CIC . So my wife called to CIC and they are saying that we don't know .

Even when we tired to look in CIC , we couldn't able to find the application form .

Please suggest what we can do now

Did you try the call centre?
Her application may have gone for a secondary review if you got letters saying there will be a further investigation... Make sure the letter isn't asking you to send things back to them, if so, they might still be waiting for you.

If none of that works, you'll probably have to reapply.
