Hi,
Me and my husband received our PR in 2019 July and travelled to Canada for 15 days during September 2019 and returned back as we had our permanent jobs her and wanted to take time to transfer by 2020.
Due to Covid in 2020, lot of things changed and my husband had to move to a different job due to difficult situation and this job has a lock in period of 3 years.
Since the current job situation in Canada is not great, we cannot afford to leave our jobs here and move to Canada in search of a new job.

Our PR expires in 2024 and we have to be in Canada before September 2022 so that we meet the 730 days requirements to renew PR. His job lock-in is till 2024.
1. If my husband is unable to move, if I move to Canada and close 2 years and can I re-apply PR for my husband via sponsership?
2. If both our PR expires, can I get a job transfer by 2024 and re-apply for PR or work visa?
3. Is there any other way to renew or apply for new PR incase our PR status expires?

TIA

1. Yes.
2. Yes. You will need to renounce your PR status first if you want to do either of these things.
3. The only other option is to make sure you return by July/August 2022 so that you can meet the residency obligation

I also heard from few that Canada generally doesn't approve PR for the second time if we do not meet the requirements. Would this be a black mark for us if we need to apply PR again for the second time after five years?

This isn't true. No, it's not a black mark.
