Pr expired how to reapply for pr with valid reasons

Me and my family had Pr card which was issued in march 09 for me and my othegr family members card was issued in oct 09.now the case is card has been expired becuase i had to live in my country to take care of my mother with my family and later on my wife was ill and botb of them expired last month due to long illness.so am i eligible to reapply???

I'm sorry to hear about your family.

You can't apply to renew your PR card from outside of Canada. You will have to apply for a Travel Document under humanitarian and compassionate reasons and include proof (e.g. hospitalization records, doctors records) to show that you were unable to return to Canada and meet the residency obligation because you were taking care of ill family members. If the TD is approved, you will then have to return to Canada before you will be able to renew your PR cards.
