Greetings,

I am international student currently studying Computer Science in the University of Toronto St George Campus. I am currently on a Canadian student visa on my Indian passport.

I understand that a 3 year PGWP would be given to me after graduation from U of T. My question is: After about 2 years of working in Canada on the PGWP, what are my chances of getting Permanent Residency.
Would my Express Entry score be high enough? Please note that I would be applying for PR from WITHIN Canada

Thank you

Whether you apply within or outside of Canada doesn't make a different.

It's not really possible for any of us to say if your score will be high enough. The best thing you can do is calculate how many points you think you would have. As of now - you need to have 440+ points to be selected. Note that you almost certainly won't be able to claim the 50 job offer points. So do not include those when you calculate your total.

Thank you for your reply. Do you mean 440+ CRS score?

With the current trends in rising demand for EE I wouldn't be surprised if getting a job offer would be the only feasible option to becoming a PR in a few years time.
