PR chance after 1 year exclusion order

i Applied pr first time. Was Found inadmissible due to 3 months unauthorized study on pgwp. Got an exclusion order for 1 year. My question is. If I return my country and finish that 1 year and got the PR invitation the second time outland and with honest explanation about my ignorant history. Will the officer approve my application? Or the refusal is high? Has anyone successfully got their pr this way?
