How long does it take protected person to get PR? I applied for the card 24 months ago and am yet to receive the card. Is there no timeline for it?

did you link your paper application to your online account ?

No but I received my letter of eligibility in December 2020

it is better if u link your application to your online account to see your exact application status..

just to clarify for you, what your applied for is the permanent residency and not the PR card.. so after you get your PR, you will have to apply for the PR card

Also, the processing time for PR is 23 months and your application have exceeded this time so it is better to check with IRCC

Hi there!

Anyone knows if Passport Canada in Ottawa (Gatineau) is already open for public? Do we have to book an appointment or is it still completely closed for in-person visits?

(I’d need to get a document out from them and I’m thinking about going in in-person since I’m living in Ottawa and phone calls are taking forever each time.)
