CoPR - Jun 2, 2020
PR Card application (photo and CoPR) express posted - will be received on Jun 11.

Anybody who can share their timeline from passing PR card application to receipt of the ID?
Thank you.

Application reached CIC on May-25
I don't have any hope to receive the new PR cards before 12 months.

one question,
why did you apply for your first PR Card?
when we land, it comes automatically.
I didn't apply for it. I received it.

My understanding right now is that PR Cards will be taking upwards of 6 months to receive.
Permanent Resident cards
New PR card 113 days
Renewing or replacing a PR card 174 days

You will be lucky if you get PR card in 6 months.

As per new trend:
PR Card to take 1 year
Citizenship will take 2 years.

1 year itoo long if your case is going through normal processing. 6 months or less is likely.

I doubt that.
There are members who had applied in January onwards & are still waiting even for their AOR, so I am sure PR card won't come under 6 months for sure. I will be happy if mine comes in a year as I applied in March this year.

They stopped processing in a March so now that processing seems to have started the wait times should decrease.

Processing time (after AOR) for regular PR card renewals is usually quick (in the order of days) so there shouldn't be a long wait between AOR and getting new card.

There is no landing interview now for inland applicants, usually they would have provided the photo then and details for PR card from what i understand.

Now there isn't a landing interview, you have to mail it yourself.
