Hi, good morning! My PR card will expire on Jan. 7, 2019, and I will arrive in Canada Jan. 6, there’s only one day before it expires will it be okay? This is an emergency flight to Philippines in Dec 30th as a member of the family passed away. Hope to hear from you soon. Thank you

So to clarify you land in Canada Jan 6 , assume stay overnight and travel onward from Vancouver to Regina January 7. You do not need a PR card to fly domestically only the international segment from the Phillipines to Vancouver and as advised you may or may not be questioned on arrival for that part but nothing to worry about if you are still residency compliant..
