Hello Good day,

I would like to travel to one of the Schengen Countries (e.g. Lithuania, Spain, Italy, Greece) and any information on how to apply for the Schnegen Visa; do I just need my PR card to travel in those countries? Or do I have to apply for a Visa for it. It's my first to apply for a Visa, I would like to ask some tips will be very much appreciated!
Also, I am a Filipino Citizen with a PR card, I moved to Canada for about 5 years now and I would like to travel to Lithuania sometime next year!
A reply would be appreciated a lot!

Thank you have a good day!

You would need to apply for a visa. You can only travel visa free once you are a Canadian citizen.

Would my requirements would be the same as most people who are apply for the Visa itself? Or does the PR card have a bit of advantage?

Canadian PR cards only allows you to enter Canada without visa. It doesn't grants you any rights in other countries.

The advantage of the PR card is that it makes it clear that you have a stable status in a 'developed' country, and less incentive to work illegally or try to prolong your stay in Europe. The huge difficulty in applying for a visa from the Philippines is the high bar for showing that one will return on time, that is much reduced when you have a Philippine passport + Canadian PR.

Why don't you apply for citizenship before you leave, an even better suggestion that you'll return?
